Membership
ITEM Coalition members include a diverse set of national disability organizations, aging organizations, consumer groups, voluntary health associations, and non-profit provider associations. Membership in the ITEM Coalition is open to all consumer and non-profit provider organizations without any requirement to contribute financially.
Steering Committee
Members of the ITEM Coalition Steering Committee are selected for their experience and leadership in the disability field. The Steering Committee meets monthly to discuss ongoing coalition objectives and to respond to new issues pertinent to the coalition’s priorities and individuals with disabilities and chronic conditions. The coalition holds an annual meeting to discuss policy priorities and subsequent advocacy strategies that the coalition will pursue.
