Members of the ITEM Coalition Steering Committee are specially selected for their ability to advocate for individuals that need assitive technology and devices and their experience and leadership in the disability field. The committee meets monthly to discuss ongoing Coalition objectives and to respond to new medical device issues pertinent to individuals with disabilities. ITEM leadership, with input from members, also devise the advocacy and policy priorities and develop strategies to fulfill these priorities.
